In the process of editing a manuscript, one finds there is far more material than necessary―and each part of a manuscript, above all, must be necessary.  The following parts and pieces were some of the writings that didn't fit in, were overkill, or otherwise didn't justify the high price of real estate in a published work.  Take them as they are, all ideas are worth a moment's consideration.
